About Me

Hi beautiful people,

My name is Kayla—welcome to Simply Rooted Soul.

I’ve always chosen the road less traveled, and becoming a mother of three under three under 30 has taken that to a whole new level. Life has been wild, raw, humbling, and miraculous. I’ve walked through chaos and beauty, and somewhere in between, I became the light I was once searching for.

Simply Rooted Soul began in 2016, and since then, both my life and my work have transformed beyond what I ever imagined. In 2022, while pregnant with my second child, I took a leap of faith and acquired Wellbeloved Wellness—rebranding it into what is now Elite Nation Wellness. I did this not just as a business move, but as a bold step toward anchoring all my passions—motherhood, movement, healing, and heart-centered leadership—under one roof.

The shift wasn’t easy. Even with a strong foundation in health and fitness, pregnancy was hard. Motherhood shook me and shaped me. It also made me realize how deeply women—especially mothers—need spaces where they can be reborn too.

That’s how Simply Rooted Mama was born: a reminder that it’s okay to evolve, to let go of what was, and to root down into a new version of yourself. I believe that when a woman becomes a mother, she doesn't just have a baby—she births an entirely new self. And when she’s supported in that process, magic happens—for her and for her children.

Through Elite Nation Wellness, I’ve built a community that supports the full spectrum of wellness: strength, softness, structure, and soul. Whether you're in the thick of motherhood or rebuilding after a setback, I see you—and I’m here to walk beside you.

It took me time, painful pivots, and a whole lot of trust to begin living from a place of alignment and joy. But I’ve learned that we don’t just go through life—we’re meant to grow through it. My mission is to inspire others to do the same.

So, what does it mean to be rooted—but to flow?
It means standing strong in who you are while giving yourself permission to evolve. It means embracing change without losing your center. It means trusting the process and surrendering the timeline.

If you’re only focused on the end goal, you’ll miss the magic of the journey. So let’s grow, evolve, and bloom together—one beautiful, messy step at a time.
